In one of those bizarre scenarios, the Australian county cricketer, Travis Keys has been attacked by a gang in Magaluf. The young cricketer was attacked by a group of six people who have beaten him to the pulp.
Unfortunately, during the thrashing, Keys broke his jawbone and eventually lost his five teeth.
It is learnt that the attack has been committed by the thieves who stole 20 Euro and a mobile from the cricketer.
In addition, Keys, the wicketkeeper-batsman went for a night out with the friends when the attack took place, according to the Australia media.
Moreover, it came to know that the youngster impaired his jaw bone at four places and needs a complete rest before making his way back to the field.
Keys plays for Shropshire Star Club as a gloveman and is serving as one of the key individuals of the team as well.
Explaining the incident, Keys revealed he was returning back to his place when a group of 5-6 men attacked him all of a sudden. He added that he got a swelling on his brain.
”I was walking back and what we believe has happened is five or six people rolled me. I lost five teeth, had four breaks in my jaw, a broken arm and swelling of the brain. Everything has gone better than planned and after an amazing job from the surgeons,” Shropshire County’s official website quoted Keys.
”I am now back to myself. I still face a long road of recovery, although that will now be pain and stress-free,” Keys added.
