Australian Cricketers Hilariously Roast Aakash Chopra On Twitter 1

Former India cricketer Aakash Chopra loves to speak his mind out on Twitter. From praising Indian players, criticising them to giving an opinion on the team-combination, the former opener never shies away from giving his opinion. However, Chopra was left red-faced due to this very nature of his.

It all began when Cricket 7’s Twitter account posted an interesting T20I XI chosen by Brad Hodge. The former Australia batsman selected players of yesteryear who did not play T20Is but would have been great at it. The star-studded list included Jack Hobbs, Warwick Armstrong, Viv Richards, Don Bradman, Clive Lloyd, Garry Sobers, Lance Klusener, Wasim Akram, Michael Holding, Jeff Thomson and Tiger O’Reilly.

Aakash Chopra, however, was taken aback after seeing no Indian in the list especially Kapil Dev, one of the greatest allrounders of all time. And the former India opener did not waste much time in posting his query on Twitter.

Re-tweeting the post, he wrote:

“No Kapil Dev??? ???????? in fact, not a single Indian player”

Hodge, however, saw the funny side of it and decided to have a go at Chopra, replying:

“Akash how would you like to see?”

This is when former Australia pacer Damien Fleming entered the conversation and posted a hilarious message. Taking a dig at Aakash Chopra, Fleming wrote:

“If its T20 you would be foolish not to have @cricketaakash opening”

Hodge then hilariously trolled Chopra by writing:

“I want entertainment, not fall asleep”

Aakash Chopra tried his best to make a good comeback but the damage was already done. As a result, he ended up posting a meek reply, writing:

“You missed the key point, Flem…not for the first time though. ???????? ‘Those who have played no T20’ I think that you qualify for this… ???????? Hodgy, no Flem???”
