Shakib Al Hasan And Litton Das Might Miss a Few Games For KKR
Bangladesh players Shakib Al Hasan and Litton Das are likely to miss at least 3 games for KKR in IPL 2023.
According to reports the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has denied NOC for them as they are expected to join the franchise only after April 8. It will come as a huge blow for KKR as they already miss out on their skipper Shreyas Iyer in the initial stage owing to an injury.
They were also a few reports suggesting KKR might opt to consider Shakib as the skipper for the initial stage of the league as he has experience leading in franchise cricket.
Litton Das, who will make his debut in the Indian Premier League was considered to play a vital role for KKR at the top order. He is set to miss a few games which will be a huge setback for the Kolkata-based franchise
Kolkata had only 6 wins in the previous season under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer–and the season didn’t go as well as planned for the franchise. Kolkata Knight Riders will be looking to put a better display in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). While they had made it to the final of the IPL 2021, they could not even make it to the playoffs in the last season of the competition.
