Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) media wing chairman Akram Khan has revealed the Mashrafe Mortaza-led side will have their base camp at Hove, in England – where they’ll train for 10 days after the conclusion of the ongoing series against Sri Lanka, which is scheduled to finish on April 6.
The national side players will participate in the Dhaka Premier League (Division Cricket) before leaving for England in the last week of April, where they’ll have their base camp at Sussex County Cricket Club.
Currently, Bangladesh (seventh) is ranked above Pakistan in the ICC ODI Rankings with 91 points.
In the second week of May, Bangladesh is scheduled to participate in a Tri-Series, including New Zealand and Ireland.
The Ireland Cricket Administration has not yet revealed the venues for the series, but has revealed the datelines for the primary fixtures.
According to a report, Bangladesh will play their first match against Ireland on May 12.
Bangladesh will start their 2017 Champions Trophy campaign under the tutelage of Mashrafe Bin Mortaza against the hosts England on June 1.
The Tigers are slated in Group A, which also include Australia and New Zealand.
Against Sri Lanka, Bangladesh will play three One-day Internationals and two Twenty20 Internationals – after the two Tests in Galle and Colombo respectively.
