Cricket fans witnessed the worst run out of 2020 in the ongoing Test series between Bangladesh and Pakistan. While playing the Test at Rawalpindi, Bangladesh cricketer Abu Jayed funnily lost his wicket whereas, it will be apt to say bizarrely.
In the first innings, Pakistan bowlers created the pressure on the visitors as the Tigers were skittled out for 233 runs in 82.5 overs.
The youngster Shaheen Afridi picked a four-wicket haul while Mohammed Abbas and Haris Sohail picked two wickets each. All in all, the most dramatic fall of the wicket came in the form of Mohammed Abu Jayed.

During the 83rd over, Bangladesh batter Jayed on the striker’s end has played the ball of Shaheen Afridi to mid-wicket region. In response, Abbas, at the mid-wicket, aimed the ball at striker’s end when the ball rolled onto the stumps.
Jayed, who had a brain fade while being clueless where he is standing. Thus, in an attempt to ground his bat, he fell well short of the crease by some distance and the ball dislodged the stumps.
With Jayed’s wicket, Bangladesh’s innings also ended.

Talking about Bangladesh batting, opener Tamim Iqbal and Saif Hassan lost their wickets early. While the middle-order contributed but could not put a big score on the board.
The likes of Mominul Haque, Mahmudullah Riyad, Taijul Islam, Liton Das, Mohammad Mithun, and Najmal Hossain got starts but couldn’t extend their innings in the middle.
Earlier, the Tigers have lost the three-match T20I series against Pakistan 2-0.
On the other hand, Pakistan won the first series after the World Cup 2019 failure.
Azhar Ali-led side would like to register the win in the Test series as well to increase their points in the ICC World Test Championship 2019-20.
Meanwhile, the second and final Test, along with a solitary ODI, will be played after the next edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020.
