Bangladesh after 11 years has qualified for ICC Champions Trophy tournament. Last they played in this tournament was in 2006. Their good performance in recent times has earned them a place amongst Top 8 teams playing in ICC Champions Trophy. Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced their squad for the tournament, and before Champions trophy they will be playing a Tri-series in Ireland with New Zealand and Ireland. They have picked 18 players for the Ireland tri-series and in four of them will be in stand by for Champions Trophy.
