Batsmen who have faced the least percentage of dot balls in IPL 2015
The T20 format is one of them most interesting formats of the game as it gives very less times for batsmen to showcase their talent in front of the thousands who have come to watch them play. This makes sure that not many batsmen play too many balls without scoring any run of it.
Here is a list of the batsmen who have faced the least number of dot balls in IPL 2015 –
The hard hitting batsmen from Caribbean has not shown his previous season’s heroics yet with the bat this season by Pollard has been in good consistent form and has not let the Mumbai Indian down whenever he was given a chance to bat. Out of all the balls he has faced, Pollard let only a 17.07% of them go un-scored and tops the list with the least % of dots faced.
Playing for the Delhi Daredevils who are having a season to forget, Sandhu who is in the team for his fast bowling has played sensibly whenever called upon and has faced only 20.83% of dot balls and is second in the list.
Rishi Dhawan who started his career with the Mumbai Indians has found a place in the star studded KIXP team and has shown that he is capable of scoring on the biggest stage. Sandhu who has only faced 22.95% of dot balls is third in the list.
Trying to make a comeback into the national Yusuf Pathan has made important contributions to the KKR team in which he has become a main stay. Pathan who is known for his hard hitting has been in good form and has only faced 23.335% of dot balls in this season’s IPL.
The costliest buy in this season’s IPL, Yuvraj Singh has not been able to justify his tag this season but has shown glimpses of what he can do on his day. Yuvraj even in a bad season has only faced 25.93% of dot deliveries and is sure to come back strongly in the next season for the DD’s.
Bumrah who is a part of the Mumbai Indians who have found form late in the league has shown that he is not a mug with the bat. Bumrah who is not given a chance up the order due has never let his team down lower in the order when given a chance facing only 26.37% of dot balls in this season’s IPL.
