The right-handed batsman O’Donnell rose to the occasion when he was playing against Sri Lanka at the historic stadium in Sharjah.
On 02 May 1990, O’Donnell scored 74 runs after his half-century came off just 18 balls. In his quickfire knock, O’Donnell smashed six sixes and four fours.
