The Lord’s
The England cricket ground the oldest cricket stadium in the World. It was built in 1814 and named after Thomas Lord. This stadium is known as the Mecca of world cricket. It is also the home of MCC and ECB.
This English stadium doesn’t get any English batsman batted top the batting average chart. Australian batsman Warren Bardsley has the whopping average of 115. He played five matches and scored 575 runs and scored two hundred. Lord’s is one of the toughest cricket ground to bat on. But another Australian batsman Allan Border played here with pride as he 503 runs in five matches at an average of 100. Among the Indian batsmen Dilip Vengsarkar averaged 72.57 in four matches.
