Jos Buttler knocks it for Sydney Thunder:
Buttler carried his glorious form at the opening slot in a T20 competition. He struck it beautifully for Sydney Thunder this time to make things happen. Alongside Buttler, Callum Ferguson and Daniel Sams are the other two players with considerable scores.
Initially, it was Sydney Sixers, who won the toss and chose to chase the score. They got Shane Watson quickly and bowled tight lines to put Thunder on the backfoot. However, Buttler was smart in picking his gaps.

Fawad Ahmed brilliance masks Tom Curran Heroics:
In reply, Sydney Sixers have got a nightmare of the start. They lost their top 6 batsmen for just 56 runs on the board to make things look bleak on the paper. It was not only hurting their chase but also their Net run rate.
