BCCI Announces Fixtures for Home Series against the Windies
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the fixtures for the home series against the Windies. The Indian team will play two Test matches, five One Day Internationals and three T20 Internationals against the Carribean nation.
The first Test match will take place at Rajkot from October 4. Thus, it going to be a jam-packed schedule for India as the Asia Cup will complete on September 30.
The second Test match will take place from October 12 at Hyderabad. Subsequently, the five-match One Day series will begin from 21st October at Guwahati. The second one-dayer will be played at Indore on 24th October while the third one will be hosted by Pune on 27th October.
Meanwhile, the final two ODIs will take place on 29th October and 1st November at Mumbai and Thiruvanthanampuram respectively.
After the completion of the five-match ODI series, the three-match T20I series will take place. The first T20I will be held on November 4th at Kolkata. The second T20I will take place on November 6th at Lucknow. The final and last match of the tour will take place on 11th November at Chennai.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is rested from the Asia Cup 2018. Thus, the Indian skipper will return to action for the series against the Windies.
India has been dominant while playing in their own conditions and would like to replicate the same performances against the Windies side.
After the completion of the series against the West Indies, India will embark on their tour to Australia.
