BCCI Picks India A Team for the Series Against Sri Lanka A, Ishan Kishan Named Captain of Test Side

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has named a couple of different India A teams against the visiting Sri Lanka A side for the two Tests and 5 One day games. The series will start on May 25 Saturday and will be played across two venues in Belgaum and Hubli. The tournament might witness the rise of several young talents in Indian domestic circuit.
IPL stars Shubhman Gill, Shreyas Gopal and Rahul Chahar has been included in the squad after sensational performances in the cash-rich league. Shubhman Gill was a consistent performer for KKR especially after being pushed to open the innings. Former Indian U-19 skipper Ishan Kishan has been elected as the skipper of the side while Priyank Panchal has been elected as the captaincy in the limited overs series. Both the Test and the limited overs squads are filled with exceptional young talents.
Meanwhile, Anmolpreet Singh who made a mark for the Kings XI Punjab was included in the two unofficial Tests. Meanwhile, Rinku Singh and Sandeep Warrier of Kolkata Knight Riders has also been included in the India A side along with Shivam Dube and Tushar Deshpande. Dube was part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore set up and also appeared in quite a few matches before getting dropped due to inconsistent performances.
