BCCI secretary Jay Shah said that Roger Binny and National Cricket Academy (NCA) Head VVS Laxman will speak with the Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur regarding her on-field behaviour during the Bangladesh series as the BCCI didn’t appeal against her ban for the next two International games.

The 34-year-old hit the stumps with her bat after being given adjusted LBW, where she was straightaway given out, which led to her frustration on the field as she straightaway indicated that the bat was involved on her way to the pavilion.

Speaking to the media after BCCI’s meeting with state associations, Jay Shah said:

“We will have our President Roger Binny and VVS Laxman speak to her (regarding the outburst). The ICC has already banned her and the time to appeal against the decision has already passed,” Jay Shah said.
