Bowling has not been a huge disappointment so far in the ongoing season of Indian Premier League. This season has been one of the best for leg spinners as many leg spinners this IPL have made a mark. Few to name are Amit Mishra, Imran Tahir, Yuzvendra Chahal and few more. However not many young Indian pace bowlers have succeeded like they did in the previous season. Likes of Sandeep Sharma, Anureet Singh and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have looked good.
In today’s stat we will take a look at a list of Best bowling spells/figures in IPL 2015, the eight season of IPL –

One player who has performed beyond expectation this season is Ashish Nehra playing for CSK, currently Nehra also is the highest wicket-taker in the ongoing season of IPL, also has the best bowling spell this season with an match winning bowling performance of 4/10 in 4 overs.
On the second position is the bowling performance of Delhi Daredevils captain JP Duminy against SRH. When the strike bowlers couldn’t make an impact, Duminy took a gamble and brought himself on to bowl and the gamble paid off as Duminy picked up 4 wickets by giving away just 17 runs in 3 overs.
Lasith Malinga, who didn’t look at his best in the initial stage did manage to make a strong comeback in recent match against SRH. He picked up 4 wickets for 23 runs in 4 overs, which helped the MI team to hit-back hard after losing matches continuously.
The only other Indian pace bowler after Nehra on this list is Sandeep Sharma on 4th position for his performance of 4/25 against KKR.
The 3 Indian bowler to make it to the Top 10 list is Ravindra Jadeja, he is on the 10th spot for his spell of 3/22 against KXIP.
