The all-rounder was the star performer in the 2019 World Cup for the Three Lions. Ben Stokes has done a great job for his side both with the bat as well the ball and has emerged as one of the most vital links in the English team. The 29-year-old’s 135 not out against Australia in the Ashes series was one of the best innings played by the left-hander where he won the game single-handedly for his side. Stokes played his natural attacking game.

Stokes hit some powerful square cuts and punched the ball well with his destructive strokeplay. One of his biggest strength’s is his ability to stand firm during pressure situations. Stokes bowled well during pressure situations and took 22 wickets this year in 15 Test innings. Stokes used the conditions well while bowling and swung the ball effectively outfoxing the batsmen with his clever outswingers.

His best bowling figures in 2019 were 4/56. Stokes also looked sharp while bowling on seaming wickets. Stokes scored 821 runs in 2019 in 21 Test innings averaging 45.61. His highest score in 2019 was 135 not out. Stokes scored two centuries and four half-centuries last year.
