Pat Cummins was one of the best bowlers for Australia in 2019. The 26-year-old used his tricks to good effect while bowling on seaming conditions. Cummins bowled well with the old ball as well as the new ball and swung sharply in windy conditions. The right-arm medium pacer used the variations smartly and used the cutters as per the nature of a wicket.
Cummins always tried to bowl on the good length, which is the reason why he picked wickets during critical junctures. Cummins took 59 Test wickets in 23 innings in last year with an average of 2013. His best bowling figures in 2019 were 6/23.
