He was yet another solid campaigner in this tournament. Apart from his innings in the semifinal, David Warner always came good for his side alongside Aaron Finch. Perhaps, he has shown how much he missed the International cricket during the phase of his ban for ball-tampering.
Warner scored three centuries and there are three half-centuries to complement that. While Warner has received some criticism for playing slow at times, he really made up for it and has been a real match-winner for Australia. He scored 638 runs at an average close to 80.
He played 9 matches for India and scored 638 runs for his side. All those runs came at a brilliant strike-rate of 89.48. All in all, personally, he had a scintillating journey in the tournament.
