Bhuvneshwar Kumar Goes all Emotional after his Engagement

After proving his mettle on the cricket field, India seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar is all set to start new innings of his life.

The 27-year old, on Wednesday (October 4), announced his engagement with Nupur Nagar which took place in Greater Noida in the company of the couple’s close friends and families.

Now that the couple is all set to tie the knot in the coming days, Bhuvneshwar took it to Twitter to recall the time he spent with his fiancee in the past and revealed how the relationship inspires him to ‘dream about the amazing future.’

“Rewinding and going back to the happy memories, inspires me to fast forward and dream about the amazing future that lies ahead..???”

The wedding, nonetheless, is going to be a star-studded affair as Bhuvneshwar’s father has revealed several Indian players are expected to attend the wedding.

Speaking to Times of India, Kiran Pal said:

“As soon as the dates are finalized, we will book a venue here in Meerut. But if logistics don’t allow that, we will look for some place in Delhi too. Dekhiye, shaadi koi roz-roz toh hoti nahi. This is a special occasion and we want everyone to be there. So we will extend our invitation to all of Bhuvneshwar’s teammates from the Indian team. I hope all of them can make it too.”

Meanwhile, the right-arm pacer has cemented his place in the limited-overs team with his excellent displays in recent times. He played an integral role in India’s last series victory over Sri Lanka and Australia, and his efforts against the latter also compelled Steven Smith to hail him as one of the best death bowlers.

“I think a mixture of guys making probably the wrong decisions on the wrong balls. Also, some pretty well-executed bowling. I think Bumrah and Bhuvi are probably two of the best death bowlers going around, particularly when the wicket sort of slows up a little bit as it did,” Smith had said after his team lost the third match.
