There are a few guys who I’ve had a really good time playing with or against in the past and I’ve had really good dealings with all of them. Ferguson was once a regular part of Australia ODI side, but injury curtailed his career to an extent. He was also part of Australia in World Cup 2011 when he along with Jason Kreja was called in to replace injured Michael Hussey and Nathan Hauritz. Hussey though made a comeback during the tournament.
Ferguson finally made it to the Test team in 2016 for the second Test against the visiting South African team after Shaun Marsh was ruled out due to an injury. Ferguson made his debut in Hobart but could only manage four runs.
