Adelaide Strikers will like to continue with their good show.

Rashid Khan had continued with his penchant of troubling the batsmen. The Afghanistan talisman spinner had scalped three wickets in the opening match to begin the season on a high. In fact, the linchpin leg-spinner had taken 18 wickets in the previous of BBL 2017-18.

Alex Carey also continued with his good form. The southpaw opener provided a perfect start to the defending champions when he scored a free-flowing 70 to take his team close to the target. Carey also had a prolific season with the bat in the previous edition of the league as he was one of the top run-getters.

On the other hand, Melbourne Renegades had come up with a fine bowling performance in their first match against Perth Scorchers. Usman Khan was awarded the Man of the match as he had scalped two early wickets to push the opposition on the backfoot. Furthermore, Kane Richardson and Daniel Christain had taken three wickets each.

Moreover, Mohammed Nabi and Sam Harper had come up with good knocks to take their side over the finishing line. Consequently, these players will like to continue with their good show.

In fact, Melbourne Renegades lost six wickets while chasing down the paltry target of 106. Thus, they would like to come up with a better batting performance.
