Not much has gone right for the Three Lions on their current tour of India as the visitors are yet to win a game in any of the formats so far.
India won the five-match test series 4-0 and have already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the ODI series, after scoring more than 700 runs in the first two games.
They managed to chase down 351 in the first game of the ODI series at Pune and held England to 366/8 in the second ODI after scoring 381 in the first innings.
Skipper Eoin Morgan put up a superlative performance at Cuttack in the chase in the second game but England remain without a win in this tour and will be hoping to turn things around in the 3rd ODI at Kolkata on Sunday.
It is getting from bad to worse for the visitors as they are now set to lose one of their star players for the rest of their tour of the sub-continent.
English media outfit Sky Sports revealed that star batsman Alex Hales has been ruled out for the rest of the tour after picking up an injury in the game at Cuttack.

Hales has suffered a fracture and, in likelihood, will remain out of action for sometime. Sam Billings will most likely replace him in the XI for Kolkata ODI.
Hales picked up the injury during the game as his acrobatic effort to try and dismiss Indian batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni ended in him picking up a fracture.

It has been revealed that Hales was spotted at the airport and that he had his hand on a sling.
Do you think Alex Hales’ absence will effect England’s chances for the remaining part of the tour?
