Fresh from a successful IPL campaign with Sunrisers Hyderabad, Bipul Sharma, the all-rounder who plays for Mohammedan Sporting Club in the Dhaka Premier Division (DPL) Cricket League, scored a century in 86 balls against the Kalabagan Krira Chakra, helping his team to a total of 290 in 50 overs.

Bipul came to bat after the fall of the third wicket and immediately took the attack to the Kalabagan bowlers. He smacked six fours and eight sixes to take his team to a respectable total.The all-rounder was bowled by Dewan Sabbir l after he had made exactly 100 runs.

However his first List A century came in a loosing cause as Kalabagan Krira Chakra chased down the total quite comfortably.
Chasing the stiff target of 291, Kalabagan rode on Tasamul Haque’s maiden century in DPL 2016 to reach home in 43.1 overs for the loss of four wickets.

Bipul Sharma played an important role for his team in this years IPL. His quickfire knock of 27 which included three sixes in the second qualifier against Gujarat Lions, helped his team to qualify for the final.
