During the third ODI against New Zealand at Eden Park in Auckland in 2014, India were on the brink of losing after they were reduced to 184 for six in 35 overs while chasing a target of 315. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin then joined the crease.
In pursuit to chase down the target, Jadeja unleashed some lusty blows later in the innings after successfully finding gaps early on. Smashing the Kiwi attack all over the park, Jadeja along with Ashwin got India close to an emphatic win but eventually failed, as the contest was tied. Jadeja though remained unbeaten on 66.
