5. India vs England 2013 (Champions Trophy Final)

The 2013 ICC Champions Trophy in England was the tournament that completely belonged to India’s Ravindra Jadeja. The left-arm spinner took 12 wickets in five matches at an average of 12.83. But it was the final against England at Edgbaston which brought him laurels. The match which was reduced to 20-over a side due to rain, saw India batting first. Losing the plot early on, it came down to Jadeja to stretch India’s score past 120.
His 25-ball 33* marched India to register 130 runs on the board. Looking not too cozy with the total, Jadeja bowled an excellent spell of 2/24 to reduce the hosts to 124, helping India clinch their second Champions Trophy title.
For his inspiring show, he was bestowed as the Player-of-the-Match and also received the Golden Ball award.
