Fidel Edwards:
The veteran West Indies cricketer Fidel Edwards had a dream-like beginning of his career. He had an outstanding good pace and his ability to swing the ball away from the batsman made him different from his counterparts.
His ability was first spotted by the West Indies great Brian Lara and was called to the national side in 2003.
Edwards made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe at the Harare ground in 2003. In this match, the fast bowler took six wickets giving just 22 runs in 7 overs.
Perhaps, he had one of the best starts that any player can have. He could not be consistent because of injuries.
