Yuvraj Singh, with his explosive batting in the 2007 T20 World Cup, showed that a batsman can score 36 runs in an over. After Andrew Flintoff provoked him, Yuvraj smacked six sixes in Stuart Broad’s over (6 balls). It became the most expensive over of T20I history. And after that innings, Yuvraj was called sixer king.
So far, no batsman has been able to break his record at the international platform. However, in T20 leagues, few explosive batsmen have scored more than 30 runs in an over. Nevertheless, scoring more than 30 runs in an over is a disgrace for the bowler.
Here, in this article, where we have discussed four bowlers who leaked more than 30 runs in an over in IPL:
4) Rahul Sharma: 31 runs

Chris Gayle is the T20 specialist, especially he builds the record in IPL. He holds the highest individual IPL score, 175* runs against Pune Warriors. He has also scored the fastest IPL century.
He showed the youngster Rahul Sharma how dangerous he could be at times. In the 2012 edition against Pune Warriors, chasing a huge target of 183, RCB lost some early wickets. Then Gayle changed the whole scenario when Rahul came to bowl 13th over of the innings. Saurabh Tiwary, who was batting on the other end took a single on the first balls and then Gayle got the strike. He went on to hit six in the next five balls of that over. In total, Rahul leaked 31 runs in an over.
