To claim most wickets in One-day International (ODI) setup is an arduous task at hands. It’s all about those moments of trust building and delivering according to the expectations and then hope it brings some luck. Bowlers with most wickets in ODI cricket saw slow bowlers giving some competition to the fast bowlers.
Well, over the years with an unerring accuracy world-class bowlers have had done their job in a subtle way to script a glory by bagging most wickets in ODI circuit. Being as the highest wicket-taker in ODIs from India, Anil Kumble tops the charts for his national team with 337 scalps.
As far as the game is concerned, it has tilted toward batters, but the way bowlers have dominated in itself been a story to relish.
Interestingly, the Asian bowlers have ruled the roost with as many as seven bowlers on the top ten list who have claimed most wickets in ODI fold.

Premium Sri Lanka National Cricket Team off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan is the highest wicket-taker in ODI circuit. He tops the overall chart of bowlers with most wickets in ODI cricket by some distance.
While bamboozling the batsmen with his spin bowling, Muralitharan went on to feature in 350 ODIs for the Island Nation.
During his 18-year-long ODI career, Muralitharan bagged record 534 wickets at an economy of 3.93 in 341 ODI innings. He bagged ten five-wicket haul which further saw him settling with 15 four-wicket haul.
