As the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 is around the corner, fans are getting excited to witness this year tournament after a long wait. There are also speculations and predictions about the champions of IPL 2020. Former Kolkata Knight Riders spinner Brad Hogg was also inquired by the fans about the same. The veteran has named three franchisees who are in front to grab the hands-on this year’s coveted trophy.

Brad Hogg made one obvious choice i.e, Mumbai Indians. The franchise has recently roped in Jame Pattinson as the replacement of Lasith Malinga for IPL 2020. The Sri Lankan pacer has opted out of the tournament because of personal reasons. However, they still have a lethal pace bowling combination with Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult in their attack. The four-time IPL champions Indians are no doubt the frontrunners in the race.

The other two franchises which Brad Hogg picked are Kolkata Knight Riders And Royal Challengers Bangalore. Surprisingly, he has not selected Chennai Super Kings as the winner of the 13th edition of IPL.

Pressure on RCB:

Despite having a massive batting line up, RCB has never IPL trophy. They are always counted as the favourites to win the most popular trophy but have always failed to live up to the expectations. Under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, the team has two times reached the grand-finale over three times.

But unfortunately, they have faced defeat every time in the marquee clash. The pressure will certainly be on them but with Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers in the side, they always have the chance to shine.

On the other hand, KKR has a strong team combination for the upcoming edition after buying two international stars — Pat Cummins and Eoin Morgan in the last year’s IPL auction. The Australian pacer is one of the best pacers of the modern era while Morgan is a white-ball specialist.
