The former Aussie spinner even said that he finds a glimpse of former legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara in Shaw.

“The standout for the Delhi Capitals I think is going to be Prithvi Shaw. I think it is time for him to make runs and show the world how good he actually is because he is a talent. I would say he is a bit like Brian Lara and Sachin Tendulkar,” Brad Hogg said.

The explosive opener Prithvi Shaw started his IPL journey with Delhi Capitals from 2018. He has featured in 25 IPL matches and has amassed 598 runs at an average of 23.92 at the striking rate of 141.04.

The youngster went on to score a blistering century in his Test debut match against West Indies in 2018.

Earlier this year, after Rohit Sharma got injured, Prithvi Shaw got the opportunity to open the innings for India in ODIs against New Zealand. He has so far played in 3 ODIs and 4 Tests, scoring 84 and 335 runs respectively.
