England batsman Kevin Pietersen is always fond of Team India since his time as an international cricketer as he always backed the Men in Blue over the past few years. The 36-year old is one of the most loved foreign cricketers in India as he has been one of the most devastating hitters for England during his playing days.
He made a number of friends in Indian dressing room thanks to the Indian Premier League which has helped him play for a number of franchises. He tweeted: “India batting…now I can watch! What a batting line up!”

However, India who were asked to chase 261 by New Zealand in the fourth ODI at Ranchi has failed miserably as apart from Ajinkya Rahane and Virat Kohli no other batsman has really dominated the proceedings.
Indian batsmen has been on a roll in the recent times but has relied a lot on Virat Kohli when it comes to limited overs as the 27-year old has been leading the side in batting department single handedly in the recent months.
MS Dhoni who has shown a glimpse of form at Mohali has yet again failed as he managed only a mere 11 runs from 31 balls in his home ground. While other middle order batsman has failed to manage quality time in the middle as they rushed to hitting and got out cheaply.
Kevin Pietersen who was expecting a dominant Indian batting is left disappointed as the batsmen has failed to live up to the expectations. The middle order has not been in the best of form over the last year or so which has seriously affected the results of Team India as the Men in Blue has failed to win a ODI series against a major team for quite a time now.
Hope the middle order clicks well and makes Kevin Pietersen happy for his time on TV at least in the next ODI at Visakhapatnam.
