Former Zimbabwe cricketer Brendan Taylor was involved in a bizarre incident on Twitter. Just before India’s first One-Day International match of the five-match series against New Zealand, the wicketkeeper-batsman posted a tweet expressing his surprise over the inclusion of Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the team.
Expressing his confusion, he tweeted:
I thought MSD retired from tests? #indvsnz

Realizing his mistake, Taylor again tweeted saying that he thought there was one more Test left in the recently-concluded Test series and was confused to see Dhoni’s name in the playing eleven.
He tweeted:“@BrendanTaylor86 apologies! I thought there was one more test ? losing my mind?”

One of the best batsmen to play for Zimbabwe, Taylor retired from international cricket after the 2015 World Cup. In an illustrious career that spanned over a decade, he played 23 Tests,167 ODIs, and 26 T20Is. He scored over 5000 runs in ODIs and over 1000 runs in Tests.
