Celebrity Classico 2017: Dhoni Scores A Brace as All Heart FC Crush All Stars By a 7-3 Margin 1

It was a vintage performance by All Heart FC in the Celebrity Classico against All Stars FC as they romped home by a 7-3 margin to win the third season of the Classico in grand fashion. MS Dhoni’s master-class early on in the game gave All Hearts FC a two-goal advantage and later on in the first half, Anirudh Srikant handed the All Hearts FC a 3-0 cushion via a header from a corner in the 42nd minute.

The first goal of the match came in the 6th minute when former Indian captain MS Dhoni scored his first of the day via a deflection from one of the All-Stars XI defenders. Later, Dhoni proved why he is the best player in the All Heart team with a 2nd goal in the 39th minute of the match. It came from a sensational free-kick.

Even a professional footballer would have been proud with such a goal, and despite it coming off a defender; Dhoni deserved all the credits for the goal.

The 3rd goal of the match came from the head of Anirudh Srikant during the 42nd  minute of the game. It was captain Virat Kohli who took the corner, and Anirudh Srikant made full use of the defensive lapse and headed in a free header.

All Stars FC got a goal back when the defence of All Heart FC was tested and Sabbir scored the opening goal for the celebrities. The Cricketers went to the 2nd half with a 3-1 lead. The RANBIR Kapoor led All Stars XI was due for a comeback but despite their best efforts, the All Heart FC didn’t allow them to force their way back into the match.

In the second half, the All Heart XI got a penalty early on and Anirudh Srikant converted it into a goal without any fuss. The All Stars FC got one back when captain Ranbir Kapoor scored a sensational goal from outside the penalty area. It was a terrific shot which keeper was unable to save. Kedar Jadhav gave the All Heart FC their 5th goal of the match. It was captain Virat Kohli who struck a ferocious shot towards the goalkeeper which was saved by the latter. Jadhav completed the goal on the rebound.

The All Stars then got one goal back, but it was too little too late. Virat Kohli scored his first goal of the match during the injury time as he struck a ferocious shot which past the goalkeeper. Shikhar Dhawan scored the final goal of the match through a penalty. It was a dominating performance by the cricketers who are scheduled to play an ODI series against New Zealand in a few days time.
