Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya thanked his fans for their support and love towards him in a tweet. Here is what he tweeted –

Pandya could have been the star of the day for India as at a stage when everyone lost hope of a win, Hardik Pandya sprung up with great innings and was scoring of almost every ball, clearing the boundary rope and hitting Pakistan bowlers. Pandya was deemed to be the hero for India as every run scored by him was causing problems for Pakistan team but a silly run out in the end, marked the end of his innings, for which Ravindra Jadeja is to blamed as there he could have sacrificed his innings to let Pandya bat as long as he can but it looked like Jadeja was in no mood to leave the crease, which resulted in a run out and the leftover hopes to win the game were dumped.
Had Pandya survived that run out and played match-winning innings, it could have been the best gift for India whereas a pinch for Pakistan but as said, it needed Jadeja to leave his crease at any cost. After Pandya’s dismissal, a total of six runs were added to the team’s total and India lost the game by a big margin of 180 runs, their highest defeat against Pakistan.
Surely, Pandya would have grown a day old after this and now we might see a matured man and a wise player in him when he gets down on the field in the next series against West Indies.
