According to the sources within the national board of Pakistan; PCB, the development was revealed in the public domain, as Ali has already been the talk of the town following his viral signature celebrations that earned him massive fan-base across the cricketing globe.

The 23-year-old Punjab-born bowler, who has played an exceptional role for Pakistan to lift the maiden ICC Champions Trophy, is expected to join the team before the start of the fifth edition which will be kick starting from August 4 at Gros Islet in St Lucia between St Lucia Stars and Trinbago Knight Riders.

However, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots side has already availed the services of explosive batsmen and bowler with the handful of tricks.

The St Kitts-based out is led by explosive opening batsman Chris Gayle, as the squad is also packed with Lendl Simmons, Samuel Badree, Carlos Braithwaite, Brad Hodge and Proteas Test skipper Faf du Plessis.

Earlier in this month, Ali has had a deal with the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), franchise Comilla Victorians in the upcoming edition of Twenty20 competition which is scheduled in the last quarter of 2017.

The reports suggested Ali’s contract is subjected to the USA visa and is expected to be the part of the outfit for the most number of matches.

Interestingly, the Windies Cricket Board (WCB), in the scheme of the things, is all set to feature in a couple of matches in Florida, as a part of the business and the promotion campaign which is further expected to be a fresh window – to make bigger impact in the field of cricket in America.

Ali has revealed he is confident to play on the Caribbean shores before joining the national team for International commitments.

The Player of the 50-over tournament Ali, who bagged the Golden Ball, has so far featured in 20 domestic Twenty20 games in which he has bagged 39 wickets an average of impressive 20.20.

It becomes pertinent, Ali has shown a great character in the recently concluded ICC Champions Trophy in England and Wales, where he was not only the highest wicket-taker but went on to made things miserable for quality batsmen owing to his splendid bowling skills.

Ali has represented Pakistan in 21 One-day Internationals, seven Twenty20 Internationals and only Test so far, since making his debut in 2016.
