Chargesheet Filed Against Mohammed Shami Over Dowry Case, World Cup Participation In Jeopardy

The last couple of months have been brilliant for Mohammed Shami in his cricketing career. He made himself as the sure shot player for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019. But, unfortunately, yet again he has been in a soup, as he was charged with a dowry case by his wife Hasin Jahan, who is a model by profession.
A charge sheet has been filed against the cricketer under IPC 498A (dowry harassment) and 354A (sexual harassment). Certainly, it is going to make an impact on his cricketing career, especially, during the upcoming world cup.
Mohammed Shami, who has been served with a charge sheet should attend the court on June 22nd for the second hearing. It would certainly make an impact on his career, as it would be the hectic time for Indian National Cricket Team with the grand event nearing its business end.
This was not the first time for Mohammed Shami to be involved in such cases. He has already gone through a lot when his wife Hasin Jahan kept multiple cases on him in 2018. Regarding the same, he even attended the court as well.
Attempt to murder case dropped:
Earlier, Jahan took to social media to post screenshots of Shami’s alleged affairs with other women. She also accused him of match-fixing. The pacer was stripped of his contract by the BCCI following the accusations, however, his contract was renewed after he was given a clean cheat in an internal investigation by the board.
However, as a sigh of relief for Shami, the cases of ”Attempt to murder” and ”Punishment for Rape” have been dropped by the court. Further, the names of his parents and sister-in-law have also been dropped on the charge sheet.
Well, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out for the right-handed fast bowler. Off late, he has been a force to reckon with for Indian National Cricket Team. In a case of his exclusion from the team, Virat Kohli-led side would really suffer to find a bowler in such a minimal time.
