Clouds of uncertainity looms over India-Pakistan clash in women's Asia cup! 1

BCCI Presiden Anurag Thakur last month announced that India will have no ties with Pakistan citing the issues between the two countries. He also added that if in case India and Pakistan are in the same group in ICC trophies, then BCCI will abandon the match awarding 2 points to Pakistan. It seems like India is set to implement rule as BCCI has disagreed to play against Pakistan in the Women’s T20 Asia Cup starting from November 27 to be played at U.A.E.

“It is a problem and the situation is not clear as yet. The PCB has spoken to the ICC about it and apparently India is being convinced to play if required against Pakistan in the Asia T20 Cup in Thailand,” a source said on this issue.

Ths is a big step taken by BCCI as despite issuing multiple warnings to Pakistan, they have not learned a lesson and are still provoking India to take a harsh step against them.

Indian players have supported BCCI’s move to isolate Pakistan as Indian players have raised a voice in support of boards decision. Recently, the Indian batsman Gautam Gambhir during an interview said that India should not have any ties with Pakistan. On the other hand, Pakistan players have shown interest to play with India. Recently Yasir Shah and Younis Khan said that they want to pay against India.

Pakistan needs to get on the line in case they need to have ties with India in any field, or else they should be ready to face a total isolation.
