3. Mohammad Azharuddin
Mohammad Azharuddin was the third most successful India captain to go without defeat in test matches. He led India from 1990-1999. He was appointed as India test captain succeeding Srikanth in 1989. Under his captaincy, the India won the test series against England in their own den in 1992-93. He went 14 test matches without defeat as Indian test captain. He led India in 47 matches winning 14, losing 14 and drawing 19 matches.
