David Warner could not get amongst the runs as the southpaw was dismissed for seven runs. Australia’s leg-spinner Adam Zampa bagged three wickets and gave away only 27 runs. Zampa was accurate with his bowling as he took crucial wickets of Andre Fletcher and Kieron Pollard. Thus, Adam Zampa was adjudged the Man of the Match. Meanwhile, Andre Russell was on the expensive side.
On the other hand, Jamaica Tallawahs had a perfect start to their batting innings as both the openers put together an alliance of 81 runs. New Zealand’s wicketkeeper Glenn Phillips scored fine 58 off just 40 balls and Johnson Charles made 31 off 20 balls.
Rovman Powell continued his good form going as he took Jamaica Tallawahs overs the line. The right-hander scored a quickfire 43 off just 23 balls to provide the finishing touches to the batting innings.
Therefore, St Lucia Stars have lost all the three matches in the CPL 2018. Subsequently, the Kieron Pollard led side finds themselves at the bottom of the points table.
