Cricket Australia security head examines security arrangements in Bangladesh 1

The chief security head of Australia Sean Carroll has arrived in Bangladesh to oversee the security arrangement made by Bangladesh board forces for England team who is in their last phase of England series. He is keeping a keen eye on the security arrangements, along with that he also travelled with the convoy of England  cricket team to analyse the security arrangements so as to submit a report later based upon his readings and studies.

Through this, Australia has sent a clear indication that Australia might travel to Bangladesh to compensate for the abandoned  two-Test series which was cancelled last year due to security issues. Australia is now mulling to compensate for that series, the board has already started preparing for that by sending their security head to have a look at the security.

Earlier, England cricket team only agreed to play in the country after their security advisor travelled the country and was assured of all the arrangements. Australian cricket Board is following the same procedure before taking a step ahead.

Australia, last year, cancelled their two-test series citing security issues. They also did not send their U19 team to participate in the under 19 world cup held in Bangladesh due to same concerns.  There are hopes that Australian team will travel Bangladesh next year, probably after Champions trophy.
