Kapil Dev
India’s best-ever all-rounder and the first captain to win the World Cup in 1983 opened a restaurant as a business move in Patna and Chandigarh. Kapil’s eleven is the name of the restaurant. The restaurant also recently launches a lounge bar. His business venture also expanded to major business in hotel and electronics.
Besides, restaurant, Kapil Dev also has a 5 per cent stake in Zoom Electronics. He also owns the Kaptain’s Retreat Hotel renovated and reopened in 2002 in Chandigarh. Kapil established a company Dev Musco Lighting Pvt limited in partnership with Musco Lighting to install floodlights in major stadiums and sports venues in India.
