Ramnaresh Sarwan, you are worse than coronavirus: Chris Gayle
West Indies legend Chris Gayle got himself in the news after publicly giving the controversial statement for losing the contract from Caribbean Premier League (CPL) franchise Jamaica Tallawahs. He blamed his former teammate Ramnaresh Sarwan, who is Jamaica Tallawahs assistant coach, forgetting his deal off from Tallawahs. He even didn’t shy to say that Sarwan was “worse than coronavirus”.
“Sarwan, you are worse than the coronavirus right now,” Gayle had said in a video uploaded on his YouTube channel.
“What transpired with the Tallawahs, you have a big part to play because you and the owner are like this (very close).”
However, Sarwan brushed off all these allegations, but Gayle stood on his comment. CWI chief Ricky Skerritt also reacted to the legends statement, saying that the report passed by Gayle might cost him at the end of his career.
