Amir Elahi

Amir Elahi own two unique records to his name. The first being the one of the twenty oldest cricketers to have played in a Test match and the other being one of the only three cricketers to have played for both India and Pakistan.
Elahi was a versatile bowler who was a medium-paced bowler early on in his career and later began bowling leg-breaks and googlies. He started his career with Baroda in the Ranji Trophy and snapped 193 wickets and also played a key role in helping Baroda win the Ranji Trophy in 1946-47.
Soon, he made his Test debut for India against Australia in Sydney in 1947 but it was just a solitary appearance. Elahi later shifted to Pakistan and played five Tests for Pakistan in 1952-53, all of which were in India.
