Ingram’s career graph seems an ideal replica to that of Levi, as the opener showed tremendous promise before fading away in hindsight. The fact that he has 3 ODI centuries in 29 innings is enough to point out that the talent was always there. However, inconsistencies got the better of him and Ingram wasn’t rewarded with a decent run in the side. His last outing in national colours for South Africa came in late 2013 against Pakistan in UAE. Sensing a lack of opportunities in South Africa, Ingram opted for the Kolpak way as well.
