Kevin O’Brien is the greatest allrounder in Ireland. He is an aggressive right-handed middle to the lower-order batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut in 2006 in Ireland’s inaugural match against England.

In that match, he picked the wicket off his first delivery and was that of England captain Andrew Strauss who was caught at square leg by Andre Botha. Notably, it was the only wicket he picked in that match in his ten over quota.
