CSK vs RR Match Preview:
Both Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals have had a similar run in IPL 2023 so far. Both the teams have won two games and suffered one defeat in their respective first three games.
Chennai Super Kings started their season with a 5-wicket loss at the hands of defending champions Gujarat Titans. The MS Dhoni-led side then bounced back by beating Lucknow Super Giants by 12 runs before thrashing arch-rivals Mumbai Indians by 7 wickets.
Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, began their campaign with a thumping 72-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad. It was followed by a close 5-run loss to Punjab Kings before they bounced back by beating Delhi Capitals by 57 runs.

Rajasthan Royals are once again looking in solid form. Their top-order is in stunning form. The likes of Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal, captain Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer have started the season on a good note. The emergence of Dhruv Jorel have only made the batting lineup stronger.
Their only worry at this point is the form of Riyan Parag who has struggled to score big so far. As far as Chennai Super Kings are concerned, their opener Ruturaj Gaikwad is in red-hot form too. He is currently the second highest run-scorer in IPL 2023 and will be looking to extend his good form against the Royals.
With both the teams in good form at the moment, one can expect another cracking contest in IPL 2023. The last game in Chennai was a high-scoring one. Given the form Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings are in, not many would bet against another high-scoring encounter.
