UEFA Champions League, Quarter-final, 1st Leg
Liverpool vs Manchester City

Liverpool rammed Manchester City 3-0 in the first leg of the quarter-final in the UEFA Champions League.
Liverpool completely dominated the Premier League leaders as they scored all the three goals in the first-half of the match.
Mohammed Salah opened the scoring for the home side. Oxlade Chamberlain then struck the ball in the back of the net from far range.
Sadio Mane then scored the final score for Liverpool. This was Liverpool’s second win in as many matches over Manchester City.
Barcelona vs AS Roma
Barcelona won the first leg against AS Roma 4-1 in a match which included two own goals by the Roma players.
The Catalans went into the halftime break with a 1-0 lead courtesy an own goal. Kostas Manolas again scored for the opposition in the second-half before Gerard Pique netted another the third goal for Barcelona.
Edin Dzeko then scored for the touring side. Luiz Suarez scored one more in the 87th minute for the home side.
Commonwealth Games 2018, Gold Coast
Gururaja wins the first medal for India

Gururaja won the first medal for India at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
He lifted a total of 249 kg (111 kg in snatch and 138 kg in clean and jerk) to inaugurate India’s medal tally at Gold Coast.
Mirabai Chanu wins first gold for India
Weightlifter Mirabai Chanu secured India’s first gold medal on the first day of the Commonwealth Games after lifting a combined 196 kg (86 kg in snatch and 110 in clean and jerk), in the 48kg category.
