England woman cricket star Danielle Wyatt and Afghanistan star Rashid Khan shared pleasantries on Twitter on Monday (March 26).
It was Rashid who initiated the conversation. The star spinner wished Wyatt for her century in the second T20I against India. Wyatt smashed a career-best 124 off just 64 balls as England Women chased down a record total against India in Mumbai. She hit 15 fours, and five maximums as England chased down India’s imposing 198 with eight balls remaining. It was the highest successful run chase in Women’s T20I history.
Wyatt also became only the second woman cricketer to score two centuries in T20Is. She had scored her first against Australia in November last year.
“Well played @Danni_Wyatt for you good ? ??????,” Rashid tweeted.

Wyatt was quick to return the favor, congratulating Rashid for his 100 wickets in One-Day Internationals. The teenage sensation became the fastest bowler to pick 100 ODI wickets last week. Rashid achieved the feat during the game against West Indies in the ICC World Cup Qualifier.
The No 2 ranked ODI bowler, had Shai Hope lbw for 23 to storm into the record books.
Rashid achieved the feat in just 44 ODI matches, surpassing Australia’s Mitchell Starc. The pacer had reached the landmark in 52 matches.
“Thankyou Rash! Appreciate it. Congrats on ? wickets ????,” Wyatt replied.
