Mitchell Starc has turned out to be the best bowler for Australia in 2019. Especially, in Tests, Starc has been the beneficial player for the Tim Pain-led team. In the first Test match, he picked nine wickets of the visitors New Zealand at Perth. Seeing his commendable performance, Starc’s teammate David Warner is interested to take the pacer in his Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) Team.

Australia has won the first Test match by 296 runs against the visitors New Zealand. The bowling attack of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon ended that day/night Test Match with a day to spare. Starc was the highest wicket-taker in Perth. After the first Test match, David Warner, Mitchell Starc and Kane Williamson had a walk. The Australian opener shared the picture on social media where Starc was shaking the hand with the Williamson who is also the captain of SRH. Warner thought it is the right moment to propose Starc to join SRH.

Mitchell Starc’s IPL Career

Mitchell Starc is not the part of the IPL 2020 auction. He has decided to withdraw from the auction for the second consecutive year and will not be a part of the event. He last played in IPL in 2015 for the Banglore based franchise – Royal Challengers Bangalore. He was brought by Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2018 auction for Rs. 9.4 crore but didn’t play a match as he was injured ahead of the League. In total 27 IPL matches, he picked 34 wickets for RCB.

Despite being far from the cash-rich league, he would have been the priority for every franchise in the upcoming auction. With T20 lined up next year, it is a surprising fact that he has decided to withdraw his name from the IPL auction.
