ToggleSunrisers Hyderabad player David Warner started his IPL journey in 2009. He first played for Delhi Daredevils(now known as Delhi Capitals) till 2013. SRH bagged his service in 2014 and the Aussie, currently, plays for them. He had also headed them to win the maiden IPL title in 2016 against Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). So, he has been part of the lucrative league for over seven years.
MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in David Warner’s IPL XI:

While talking to the cricket expert Harsha Bhogle, Warner picked up himself for the opening position with MI skipper Rohit Sharma. The Mumbaikar, usually, plays at No.3 or No.4 position in IPL. For batting at No.3, he picked up RCB and Indian captain Kohli, who is the leading scorer for his franchise. Warner also said that Virat has a passion like him to score runs and beat the opposition.

In the middle order, CSK player Suresh Raina and MI’s allrounder Hardik Pandya has been placed. At batting No.6, Warner picked his Aussie’s teammate Glenn Maxwell, who was the second most expensive overseas buy in the IPL 2020 auction. CSK skipper MS Dhoni will don the glove and comes in at No.7 in the batting line up.
In the bowling department, he picked Aussie player Mitchell Starc, who last featured in IPL in 2015 and MI pacer Jasprit Bumrah. The veteran fast bowler Ashish Nehra has also got the place in the playing XI. He was the part of SRH’s IPL title win in 2016. Warner was confused to pick a spinner between Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal.
Interestingly, there were no veteran players like Shane Watson, Yuvraj Singh, and Lasith Malinga in his playing XI.
