Impressive performances in the England vs Australia T20I series has earned him the top spot in the rankings. The 33-year-old England star has dethroned Pakistan batsman Babar Azam from the number one spot in the T20I rankings.
Southpaw, Malan has ascended four places in the rankings after his stupendous performances in the England-Australia series sealed a 2-1 win for the hosts. He finished as the highest run-scorer in the series with 129 runs in 3 matches. Dawid Malan made his T20 debut for England in 2017 against South Africa hitting a stellar knock of 78 runs off 44 balls.
