England batsman Dawid Malan has moved to the number 1 rank in the ICC T20I Rankings for the first time in his career. Impressive performances in the England vs Australia T20I series has earned him the top spot in the rankings. The 33-year-old England star has dethroned Pakistan batsman Babar Azam from the number one spot in the T20I rankings.
Southpaw, Malan has ascended four places in the rankings after his stupendous performances in the England-Australia series sealed a 2-1 win for the hosts. He finished as the highest run-scorer in the series with 129 runs in 3 matches. Dawid Malan made his T20 debut for England in 2017 against South Africa hitting a stellar knock of 78 runs off 44 balls.

Among other England, stars’ improvements in the batting charts include Jos Buttler and Jonny Bairstow. While Buttler moved from 40 to 28th, Bairstow climbed up three spots to achieve a career-best 19th position.
KL Rahul and Virat Kohli are the only Indian cricketers in the top 10. Rahul is on the 4th spot while Kohli at the 9th. Aaron Finch regained his third position after scoring 125 runs in the series against England.
